Martingale Collars tighten when pulled. These are great for dogs that need a bit of training when walking. These are also a good choice for dogs that tend to slip out of regular flat collars.When fitted properly, a martingale collar should fit on the dog where the chain is not hanging down, but not too tight.

SIZING INFO: Please measure carefully as these are made for your pup.. The measurement you give, ex: 18 inches, will be the entire inner circumference of the collar when sitting relaxed, not pulled tight. Measure your dog's neck with a soft measuring tape, placing the tape around the area where your dog wears their collar, or you can take your pup's current collar off, do it up to the size where they comfortably wear it, and then measure the inside circumference with a measuring tape. It's also a good idea to try sliding the collar on and off at that size while done up, to make sure that it will fit over their head. If your pup has a wider head than neck or you prefer a looser fit, you may want to add an extra .5 to 1 inch to your measurement.

This  Non Adjustable dog collar is made of  Standard Beta BioThane, 1" and 1.5”  wide and approximately 1/8" thick. 1 inch BioThane® Beta Standard Weight webbing has a 1,000 lb break  and 1.5” has a 1,500 lb break. These collars are adjustable, but we recommend measuring your pup’s neck for the best fit. Use a soft measuring tape around the area where the collar normally sits. Alternatively, you can measure the inside of their current collar (done up to their usual size).
